Founded in 1984 by Rick and Gena Rutledge, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rutledge Medical has been one of the premier sales organizations for some of the most innovative medical tech companies in the world. On the human side we’ve supported products in patient monitoring, cardiovascular rhythm management, orthopedic implants, ultrasound, digital radiography and blood components. In 1991, Rutledge Medical became the sales organization for Pentax in Oklahoma, Western Arkansas and West Texas, entering the field of endoscopy.
In 2021, Rutledge Medical pivoted to focus 100% veterinary endoscopy, an underserved instrument for the animal healthcare sector.

William R. Rutledge
CEO
The founder. He took Pentax from less than 5% market share to north of 20% market share in a decade spent in the field. His territory spanned from W. Arkansas to the deep plains of W. Texas. His endoscopy experience goes back nearly 25 years. Dad to four, Grandpa to seven, Husband to one and fur baby dad to Peanut, a pekingese, and Bullwinkle, a Shitzu.
Rick O. Rutledge
President/COO
Spent three years in the field for Pentax, Chris Lutz Medical and Swinson Medical on the human side. He transitioned into television/radio media for 17 years before moving into software startups where he spent a successful eight years. Now at the helm of the family business, he's excited to be back working with clinicians and endoscopy. Husband to one, dad to four, and fur baby dad to Duke, a golden retriever, and Thor, an American Great Dane.
Jeff Dobbs
Chief of Service and Support
Jeff spent several years in the field for Olympus and later for some of the biggest endoscopy equipment distributors in the nation. He continues to run his bustling repair business on the human side but has stepped up to handle all things service for your scopes of any brand. His team is dedicated to putting patient needs first.

Future Veterinarian
This kid just oozes animal magnatism. He said to mom and dad at only four years old that "I'm Going To Be A Veterinarian When I Grow Up.." So it's exciting that he can join us as part of the team during breaks from school and weekends. He loves to soak in as much about animal medicine as possilbe. He's prob going to nail his endoscopy lab in vet school...just saying.
